Pros: The bumper is a very high quality product, excellent fit, finish and quality
Cons: Very tight tolerences to mount
"A great product, very happy with the purchase. An unintended addition to the functionality of the bumper is that the roller/D ring mount also somewhat acts as a steering box guard. The mounting hole tolerances are very tight, makes it a bit difficult to get the bolts lined up and started. Overall very pleased with the Highrock bumper, looks great and solid enough not to fold at all if you nudge a stump or rock."

Pros: Looks great, solid construction, coating very good
Cons: Bolt alignment a bit of stuggle, Mile Marker SE9500C winch didn't fit with grille tube
"Instaling the bumper on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler took some time. The bolt holes on the Jeep and the bumper were so close and tight it took time to align them up and secure with the old bolts required for reinstall the new bumper. Two people a must as the bumper is heavy. The bumper is very soild, heavy duty and looks mean on the front of the Jeep. Very happy with the appearence. I also got the approach roller and grille tube. They both took little time to install and you want to install them before the bumper is put on the Jeep for sure, because there is little room to work once the bumper is on the Jeep. Working off a bench is always easier anyway. My problems started with the winch I selected, the Mile Marker SE9500C. A great winch, very happy with it for sure. The problem is the winch doesn't fit under the Grille Tube, there isn't enough clearance for the plastic control box mounted high on the side of the winch. I took the grille tube back off and bolted the winch on. No problems there. Then we mounted the bumper on the Jeep figuring I'd send the grille tube back. Afterwards we stood back looking at the Jeep and found that the grille tube must get mounted; one for looks and performance, second I was planning to mount the Jack on it. We slid the grille tube on as close as we could without hitting the winch and realized we could drill the matching bolt pattern between the existing holes in the bumper and still have the grille tube. I wasn't crazy about drilling into a new $450 bumper, but the look and performance aspects of it made it all worth while. Afterall it's a 4-wheeling toy!"

"I installed this on a 1997 Sahara Ed. in one evening after work. I like it's construction and looks, but... When I got a bike rack that would mount on the 2" receiver, it became apparent that the receiver opening had burs and wouldn't accept the rack (minus one star). Bestop customer service was nice, but let me know, frankly, that any fixes to this issue was going to be the one I make (minus one star). Some filing and about a half an hour and the issue was rectified, but hey man! I paid for a finished product! I'd buy from Bestop again, but I'll expect to have to do some finishing work."

"Excellent finish and quality product. Installed by myself and it took longer to round up the tools than it did to install. The trailor hitch design provides good off-road clearance."
