"I totally recommend this travel trunk. I purchased the large size and mounted it to my Suzuki DL650 in 10 minutes with no difficulties. It has performed flawlessly for 2 months now. I've compared it to my buddy's Givi trunk that he paid $300- for and the quality is very similar. This box seems sturdier, though the latch and lock aren't as nice. I don't know how Givi gets away with charging what they do for plastic boxes. I wish this company would start making hard side luggage because I'd buy it in a second."
"I have an older JCWhitney top case and although it's cheap and flimsy it has lasted for several years. The Garage Pro trunk is so much better in every way compared to the older trunk! It's not a GIVI but, it's so close it's not funny! You could buy 3 or 4 of these cases for the price of one GIVI!The trunk is sturdy and seems to be sealed fairly well. The latch for the opening of the case is probably the weak point but, should hold up for quite a while. As others have mentioned, the latch that connects the case to the mounting bracket needs some modification to work properly. On the base-plate you will see a triangular piece sticking up with a square hole on one side of it. If the side with the hole is not flat with the sides, it will not release! Just take a ball-peen hammer and lightly tap it until it is flush or recessed slightly. After that, it works great! I ordered one for a friend and after receiving it, I ordered three more to mount on my bike as a top-box and side luggage! The bolts that come with the case to mount the base-plate are metric so, it's hard to find nylock or other lock nuts so, I switched to 5/16" bolts with nylocks."
