Cons: was not a TRUE cat back system, spare tire no longer fits
"Overall good fit, good price, sounds great, the only two big disappointments were that it was NOT a true cat back system, (had to reuse pipe from catalytic converter to muffler, which was a rotten pipe on my old truck and one of the reasons I bought a CAT BACK exhaust) AND the spare tire no longer fits in its area, so I guess I will have to store the spare tire in the bed of the truck."

"I have had this system on my 2003 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 for two years. The sound is good not as loud as I wanted, but it is pretty good. Pipes are starting to rust a little, but that is not bad considering it's been through two Maine winters. Tips are rusting a little. The clamps rust fast and are always getting loose. Does not fit well around a trailer hitch, will need to bend the pipes yourself for that. However, considering the price this is not a bad exhaust. Has a nice pop and crackle."

"Exuast pipes are good and sound good. The clamps are now breaking off after two years. The clamps are totally rusting through. If they gave better quallity clamps this would not be a bad exuast system for the money."
Pros: good directions, good design/fit, sounds good
"I just installed this system on my 1999 1500 silverado. My buddy and i put about 4-5 hours in removing old and installing new system. I have a trailer hitch and the spare tire in place and it fit fine with both. the biggest problems were getting the old flange nuts off( you have to reuse them)and getting the extension pipe flange to line up correctly. Both minor but time consuming problems. We have put several systems on our trucks over the years and we both agreed that this was the best one overall."
