"I used these on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee to help in towing a small travel trailer. This cheap and easy solution removed the need to buy a much more expensive weight distribution hitch, which is a hassle to use. The ride of the Jeep when not towing has not been affected. These springs are an excellent choice for a Jeep that tows."

"I could not see any improvement, same load, truck drops the same...no change.. These springs are rated for 1500 lbs,, even if they would have just increased capicity by 700 lbs, I would have been happy. Now to return them to JC Whitney"

"These were purchased second hand from my brother with the intent of hopefully raising my son's Wrangler a couple of inches without having to mess with adding a leaf spring. He had lost the instructions, but they went on easily and raised the back of the Jeep about two inches. I was told the ride was stiffer, particularly if seated in the back seat, but it's a Jeep and the ride isn't supposed to be smooth."
