"I have not been able to put the top on yet. Its rained daily since I received the top.
The top looks sturdy and well put together. JC shipped fast and received quickly after ordering."

Do Not Buy
August 8, 2012

"I live in Las Vegas the top lasted less than 2 months and all the straps became brittle and snapped. On the plus side JC Whitney refunded the money quickly. If looking for a bikini top look else where."

GOOD STUFF

Pros: Keeps the heat down
Cons: Have to buy the windshield channel which requires wrench to install/remove - not that big a deal
"It really keeps the Texas heat down. But you still get some sun without baking so badly. It feels 10 to 15 degrees cooler with it on. I also don't have to wear a hat anymore to keep the overhead sun from blinding me. Just my glasses do the job now. It fits great. No flapping or noise from it. Not very good for the night view, but that's not what it's for. And carry a wrench with you if you need to get your top on in a hurry. Great purchase overall"

Pros: You name it...
Cons: No rain protection
"Finally decided to buy this and it has exceeded my expectations. It works just as described with reducing the sun's heat. As big as the holes are I couldn't believe it would block the heat, but it does. You can literally feel the difference from standing outside in the sun to hopping in your jeep under this. There's only 5 straps (one of which does nothing as far as I can tell) and a channel flap on front to strap it down but somehow it barely flaps in the wind. It makes no noise that I can hear, which I like. My favorite part: I ordered the full length top (for my TJ) and found that the rear portion can be pulled down between the center roll bar and soundbar to make a windblocker. You'll need a couple of extra straps from the hardware store to do this. So this solved both of my problems - excessive sun and wind. Only irritation is that it took 3 weeks to show up due to backorder. You'll need a windshield channel to install this. If you're considering this, BUY IT! You won't regret it."
