Consdidn't fit flush eith the door
This is the second side view mirror I have bought for my sons 2012 fusion. The first one fit great, no gaps , easy install. The second one was a problem, trying to fit it flush with the door, like it was warped. We have to use black electrical tape to keep the water out of the door
bought a two pack deal that had both side mirrors for a 2001 F250 Lariat. The OE connectors on the truck are the round connectors. The left side Kool Vue mirror had the correct connector (male). The right side mirror had a flat connector on it. The mirrors came with an adapter for round, but their adapter could not be attached to the truck since they are both female adapters. I had to cut the old wire connector off the old mirror and splice it to the new mirror to get it to work. All was well after that....the power mirrors worked. Then we drove the truck a few hundred miles and the mirrors did nothing but shake the entire time. The plastic housing was solid, but the actual glass bounced and vibrated.....still does. I can live with it since the dealer wanted $300 for each mirror.
