I bought this Curt T-connector to go along with the Curt trailer hitch I installed on our 2012 Mazda Miata MX5. The connector worked perfectly with this installation, and was absolutely a "plug and play" installation. There was NO cutting, splicing, soldering, or other such tasks needed. I simply unplugged the socket connectors on the car, plugged in the T-connector, and then plugged the car wiring into the connector. It was quick and easy. The quality of the T-connector is excellent, the wiring lengths is just right. You won't go wrong with one of these for your car.

I bought this wiring kit as part of the Curt hitch package. I was very glad to see that it didn't have those snap-on insulation displacement connectors as those don't last too long. Installation went very smooth. The hardest part was running the one wire from the battery (in the engine compartment) to the rear lights. If I had a lift, it would be no problem. I used ramps in my garage, so the front of the van was easy, and as I ran the cable rearward, it become more difficult as the bottom of the van got closer to my face. But got her done. Everything worked the first time. I did solder fuse connector leads as I don't like the sqeeze-on type butt-joints.

This is advertised as a T connector, but it isn't. It only has a single connector at the vehicle end, and a 4 way flat at the other. The only way I could plug it in is to unplug the truck's taillights!
