Cons: Back dragging could suck you off to the side
I purchased the plow with a truck attached to it. I only purchased it for personal use, but with the heavy snowfall this year, I have been doing businesses. Most were amazed at how high this little bitty plow could create berms taller than my full size truck. I did get one job that I could not do, which was a 600' driveway that hadn't been done all winter and was a 10% grade. With chains, I managed to get it where the guy could get home. Backdragging with the blade down sucks you of to the side in deep snow. Over loose gravel it doesn't have the weight to get down far enough. If you are not using this as a commercial plow(as I do), it is absolutely perfect!!!

Pros: Lightweight, Strong, doesn't damage property, No electric or hydraulic to freeze up!
Cons: Do have to get out of truck to raise and lower or change direction!
I have used this plow on my 630 ft driveway and a Church parking lot and other commercial properties for five years and it works flawlessly! The only problem I have ever had with the Snowsport is that when you plow straight in heavy snow that the snow can come over onto hood of truck! But is worth the shorter plow because it never blocks the headlights of the truck, when driving between jobs! I still have the original rubber on sides and bottom after five years and still don't need to replace yet! I love how I have a ford f 150 and can do this plowing with out a heavy duty truck. You will love the fact that it doesn't harm grass or stone drives. In fact at the Church I plow they used a regular plow for one year and called me back because the commercial plow scratched there parking lot!

If so don't buy this product. At approx., 1/4 - 1/5 the cost of setting your truck up and purchasing a new electric/ hydraulic plow, this plow can perform 90% of a electric/ hydraulic plow. What it can't do: 1. You cannot backdrag or scrape the ground clean. 2. You can't plow (forward direction) across a clean surface (blade chatters). YOU CAN: SAVE YOURSELF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and HEAVY wear and tear on your vehicle and the plow itself. How? This plow glides over protruding manhole covers and gratings. Does not tear blacktop patches or grass like a metal adjustable blade. This plow requires-no light kits, no spring/ lift kits, no front end re-alignment. Installs in a Saturday afterrnoon with one person and a set of household tools. Does not cause engine to overheat- very little airflow is blocked to radiator. Try driving a heavy and large elec/hyd plow on a warmer day (slightly below or at freezing)at highway speeds without overheating your engine. Its near impossible. I use this plow to supplement a elec/ hyd plow to maintain a 350,000 sq.ft., facility which operates 18 hours a day 364 days a year and can keep up with some of the heaviest snows we have had this season (2006-2007)in the midwest. For a homeowner or small business owner who takes care of their own property-this is THE ANSWER to a $4000 to $6000.00 headache.
