" This is a great windshield. Take your time at installation and leave all knobs a little loose till you're sure its set right. I had to set mine a little different on the lower ones to allow the windshield to sit without stress on it because of my particular bike and other equipment. It is an excellent windshield. I'm hooked. I won't ride without one now. Well worth the money.
Wash with a CLEAN wet soft soapy rag and no chemicals or gas station cleaners Better just to rinse it with clean water. I just carry some soap in my saddle bag and wash it whenever I get the chance. I've had it two years now and I love it.
Pros: Great Fit, Easily adjusts to bike.
Cons: None

" This is the second Plexifairing 3 (N8963A-01) windshield I have had on my 1987 Suzuki Intruder 1400. The first one wore out after 23 years, so now I have a new one. I wasn't sure if I was going to replace the old one or not, but it didn't take long for me to get tired of rocks, bugs, watery eyes, and wind. I live in the middle of the Mojave Desert. When it's 125*F. the wind feels like a hot hair dryer on my fingernails and in the winter the North winds go right through me. I'm not as young as I used to be. It took me about 90 minutes to install without any problems. Fits good and looks nice. Strongly recommend this to you. "
Pros: Good coverage, easy install, looks good on bike.
Cons: Bought clear; couldn't find tinted.

" Although JCWhitney says it won't fit an Adventurer, it fits fine.It should also fit the Legend and Thunderbird triples, but I can't be sure of that. "
Pros: Easy to install and remove
Cons: some buffeting with crosswinds

" I picked this up a little over a year ago for my '81 Yamaha XS 850 after a few long rides in 40 degree weather made me reconsider running without any sort of windscreen. I was being a little picky in my selection; I wanted something that gave comparable wind protection to a full fairing, yet wouldn't obstruct my view of the road close to the bike without repositioning (think front tire close) and was easy to take off on hot days. I shopped around for a while until I came across National Cycle's Plexifairing line. The price seemed a little steep for someone on a tight budget, but since you usually get what you pay for I gritted my teeth and went with it.
The initial install needed a little time invested while I tinkered with different mounting positions for the hardware until I eventually found one that suited me best. Since then it takes maybe two minutes on a slow day to fully hook-up or remove once I get it carried to the bike. Blocks the wind without any trouble, will keep you less soaked for a while if a rain shower sneaks up on you, and I've ridden a few good 100 mile jaunts in freezing temperatures with it on (though not without some heavy gear on; it's good, but it's no Windjammer).
Good quality, slick design, serves it's purpose; all-in-all, this has been the best investment in accessories I've made for my bike to date. A must have if you make regular distance rides but still want to lose the fairing for some good ol' fashioned no-frills cruising. "
Pros: Ease of set-up, good overall coverage
